It getting near that time again for sleepless nights and the patter of tiny hooves. Hope everyone has a really successful 2013 lambing and we get some spring weather to go with it.

New Calendar for 2013
The new events calendar now has confirmed dates for all the shows and we are just waiting to hear about a few of the Rare Breed Sales from the second half of the year.
Do you have a spare fleece from last years clip?
In the 1990s, the artist Victoria Crowe did a series of paintings of a neighbour, an old shepherd Jenny Armstrong, which were exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery of Scotland.The Dovecot Gallery is currently weaving a large tapestry of one of the pictures. http://dovecotstudios.com/tapestry-studios/current-projects and would like to use a CM fleece for one part. New forum for society members
At the AGM we were asked to create a forum where members can chat to each other and exchange information. We have created a basic forum that is only open to society members but is unmoderated and members can open their own topics at any time. More details can be found under the menu option on the left including how to join.
Combined Flock Book
The latest volume of the CFB is now available in the new form of a PDF download. Go to the online flock book and select manage your flock and there is a new link to download the Castlemilk Moorit pages.
